What we do
Reed Wellbeing is providing the NHS Health Checks catch-up programme in Norfolk. Our FREE Service can help your employees get a better understanding of their health through clinical tests and lifestyle questions. We will then offer motivational advice and signposting to help them set goals and live a healthier life for longer.
Our service is fully funded by Norfolk County Council, meaning that we can deliver health checks to your employees free of charge.
The benefits
Your people are your most important asset.
Protecting and improving their health through workplace wellbeing activity leads to better morale and engagement (CIPD Health and Wellbeing at work report, 2018).
Every year in the UK 131 million working days are lost to sickness.

How it works
What we will provide:
- Health check sessions exclusively for your employees.
- A bookings system to enable your employees to check their eligibility and book an appointment
- All equipment and disposables
- Pocket size results card to keep a check of results
- Signposting to further support for your employees
We would need to have a realistic prospect of delivering at least 35 health checks in 3/4 sessions to commit to delivering in your workplace. For smaller companies, you can invite neighbouring businesses to your workplace to increase numbers, or, we can provide sessions to your employees at a nearby community venue
The NHS Health Check Programme
The NHS Health Check programme can be accessed by your employees who are:
- Between the ages of 40 and 74
- Live in Norfolk OR registered with a Norfolk GP

“With minimal impact to the working day, these proactive checks introduce steps towards having a fit and healthy workforce”
At Aviva our staff are at the centre of everything we do. We’re proud to have an established wellbeing programme that supports us all physically and mentally and we’re thrilled to have introduced the NHS health check to the programme at our Norwich office. This supports our colleagues over 40 with a simple, short health check conducted onsite by NHS healthcare professionals, where our colleagues receive a relaxed and confidential 20-minute appointment right here at the Norwich office. With minimal impact to the working day, these proactive checks introduce steps towards having a fit and healthy workforce. Reed Wellbeing have been instrumental in helping us set this up at Aviva and deliver an impressive catalogue of supporting information and online tools to help staff understand, maintain, or improve their wellbeing and lifestyle choices.

“This has been a great opportunity for us to support staff members with their health and wellbeing”
We have been delighted to be able to offer our staff over 40 health checks. The take up from staff has been incredible with Kirsty from Reed Wellbeing being fully booked at each visit. This has been a great opportunity for us to support staff members with their health and wellbeing.
We are looking forward to working with Kirsty and Reed again next year.

“An empathetic and informative experience that they would recommend to others.”
I work for DWP and as a decision maker I can say that the service that you delivered was exemplary.
A comment has been made that it was lovely - that it didn’t feel like a tick box exercise but an empathetic and informative experience that they would recommend to others.
The practitioners were both very knowledgeable and friendly, so they easily put you at ease.
As a site wishing to promote personal wellbeing, the sessions have been very helpful in helping others to think of their own help first.
